SUMMARY:Volunteer with MfSC: Gardening Workshop
DESCRIPTION:What can the Earth teach us about... Diversity? Rest? Endings?\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUrban gardens are little oasis downtown that have the poten
 tial to connect us to the Earth. They have much to share and teach\, even 
 about our own human experience. We need only observe and learn to listen. 
 Each session will explore a different topic: what can gardens teach us abo
 ut diversity\, rest and endings?\n\nThrough discussions and hands-on garde
 ning\, the participants will get to discover the garden\, how they operate
 \, and be fed holistically\, in body\, mind and spirit!\n\nThis workshop i
 s being co-hosted by the Multi-Faith and Spirituality Centre and Innova
 tion Youth\n\nOpening hearts and minds to diverse expressions of the human
  spirit. Fostering connection and meaningful engagement.\nThe dedicated te
 am at the Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre exists to guide and support 
 the entire Concordia community in matters of faith and spirituality.\nConn
 ect with a student faith group\, get one-on-one guidance with a chaplain o
 r interfaith facilitator at Concordia and get involved with your community
 .\n\nInnovation Youth seeks to offer a community space for youth and famil
 ies living in or frequently visiting downtown\, opening up the possibiliti
 es of integration into academic\, professional\, and social life. They see
 k to create space for youth and families to flourish. The urban gardens ha
 ve the goal of making the neighborhood welcoming for all\, and provide int
 ernships for youth to greenify downtown.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister: ht
