🍄Fungi Fest is coming to Concordia!🍄
𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗶 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝘁𝗹, in collaboration with the Concordia Food Coalition, is a mushroom festival with the goal of introducing the public to the hidden universe of fungi will take place on Wednesday October 23rd 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟭𝗮𝗺-4𝗽𝗺 𝗮𝘁 4th Space and various locations across campus.
At the festivity, there will be:
– A mushroom market filled with local growers, student organizations, and artisans.
– Mushroom talks hosted by Concordia researchers, mycologists, and professors.
– A keynote presentation by Melany Kahn, the children’s author of ” Mason Goes Mushrooming” and TED talk presenter.
– Mushroom communal art project.
– Cooking workshop offered by @thepeoplespotato
– A mushroom growing workshop offered by @mycoboutique
and more!
