Wednesday, November 27: The BFSA is delivering a hybrid event: “Black food sovereignty: Decolonizing the food system.”
The event includes a panel discussion, moderated by Malik Yakini, on the challenges and opportunities in reclaiming food systems and achieving Black Food Sovereignty. Speakers included are Dr. Jasmine Ratliff, Zakiya Tafari, Nicole Austin and Dr. Shakara Tyler. For those attending in-person, a vegan dinner will be catered by Vital Life.
